The Baton Rouge State Fair Foundation is pleased to announce our 29th Annual Outstanding Volunteer program for 2024. Every high school in the 10 parish Greater Baton Rouge area (Ascension, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, Tangipahoa, West Baton Rouge, and West Feliciana parishes) may select one member of the junior class who has given time and talent as a volunteer in school, religious organizations, and community activities.

Each Outstanding Volunteer will receive a cash award in the amount of $500.

Please select the member of your junior class who is indeed the Outstanding Volunteer and send the student’s name and basic information using the form on our website as soon as possible. At the same time, please forward the other enclosed forms to the student you select.

The deadline for receipt of all student forms and materials is Tuesday, April 30, so please urge your honoree to complete the appropriate forms on the website as quickly as possible. The cash awards, along with certificates of honor, will be presented to these outstanding students at the 2024 Greater Baton Rouge State Fair October 25 - Nov 3.
